Whatever. I'm just impressed I haven't missed a day yet! Go me!
So onto today's topic! Today I'm telling you about the top 3 TV shows that are returning this month, and my top 3 most anticipated books releasing this month!
Frankie's Top 3 TV Shows Returning in January
1. The Vampire Diaries, January 17, 2013.
Because come on! This show is off the walls crazy-insane! And with the way the last episode ended...I don't even know what's going on anymore. All I know is I look forward to every Thursday.
2. Once Upon A Time, January 6, 2013
This was one of my favorites last year. And while season 2 hasn't quite lived up to the epic-ness of season 1 (I still miss Graham! WHY can't he come back? I'll take any crazy-insane plot hole you have--just give me the sheriff), I do still love this show and am really curious to see where it's going.
3. Bunheads
I'm on the fence here. I had mixed feelings about the show, but I did keep watching. Truthfully this is like a twisted Twilight-zone Gilmore Girls. But...you know, weird Gilmore Girls is better than no Gilmore Girls. So I'm extremely curious to see where this goes.
And now...
Frankie's Top 3 Book Releases in January
1. Just One Day, Gayle Forman (January 8, 2013)
I haven't read this yet, but based on my experiences in the past reading Gayle Forman's books, I know I'm going to fall absolutely head over heels in love with this story and I can't wait!
2. Boundless, Cynthia Hand (January 22, 2013)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series! If you haven't started it yet (this is the 3rd) then you must. I think it's one of the best paranormal series around and is seriously underrated. Why aren't more people obsessed with this? Get obsessed! Or you know...just read it. I like it.
3. Shadows In The Silence, Courtney Allison Moulton (January 29, 2013)
This is another 3rd in a series (a kick butt series). These books are a ton of fun and if you're a Buffy fan, you can't help but get sucked into the premise.
What are you looking forward to reading/watching this month?

Well, we're matched with one out of three on the TV shows. I too am excitedly awaiting the return of Vampire Diaries. SUCH a fun show. :) I'm also really excited about the return of The Walking Dead and the final season of Spartacus.
ReplyDeleteAs far as books, we've got one out of three there as well. :) I love Gayle Foreman and can't wait to read her new book. The other one I'm looking forward to doesn't come out until March, but I can't wait for Clockwork Princess by Cassie Clare. LOVE LOVE LOVE those books. Who will she choose? Who will live or die? Jem? Will?? The suspense is killing me...
Oh I haven't started that series yet but I've heard good things.
